Heidelberg United, Hume City and Melbourne Knights all had 3 points deducted for irregularities in 2009.

Dandenong Thunder had three points deducted for offences against match officials on May 10 against Sunshine Georgies.

South Melbourne were deducted six points in respect of incidents in the match against Heidelberg in round six.
